A first class French numismatic web directory available in English as well as French, mainly listing French numismatic sites. 

English Hammered Coins

Timothy  D. Cook's personal website which displays his collection of English Hammered Coins. An excellent example of how to display a collection to a wider audience. 

Byzantine Coins

A private collection of Late Roman, Byzantine and western contemporary imitative gold coins from 330 to 1204. Hasn't been updated for a while but has some interesting content. Only covers the gold series.

Islamic Coins Group

This site is a place for collectors and students of Islamic numismatics to share knowledge and information about medieval Islamic coins. The group is for the novice and the experienced alike.

Euro Coins

A commercial site selling the new Euro series but it has excellent images of the wide variety of types available from all the Euro countries. Very comprehensive and essential if you want to identify where the Euro in your pocket originates from. As more countries join the Euro it will become even more useful. 

CONECA

The Combined Organisations of Numismatic Error Collectors of Americas. A fascinating site that concentrates entirely on errors and varieties of modern American coins.
